Kalpana made a mockery with an opening mark of 78 over C&D at the Craven Meeting but although she impressed visually the performance didn’t quite make the same impression on the clock and I’m wary of ranking such horses higher, granted she could be as good as she looked.

Preference will be given to the winner of Chelmsford WINTER SNOWFALLa Galileo half-sister to the listed winner Dancing Goddess, out of the UAE 1000 Guineas winner Winter Lightning.

She beat Oaks entry Danielle by half a length at Chelmsford, and that filly went on to win by 12 lengths in a 1¼ meter novice at Wetherby. If she develops as expected, she looks like an Oaks prospect and could take this with her on the road to Epsom.

INTINSO was immature last season and showed enormous promise on debut, but he seems to have benefited from time and gelding surgery – he won well at Wolverhampton and stood out hugely last time when finishing third behind Cemhaan and Killybegs Warrior in the Rosebery Handicap at Kempton.

The front pair were able to dictate terms at Kempton with nothing coming from behind in a stop-start contest, but despite racing sharply at times, Intinso was impressed with how well he saw the race and promises to return making progress as his stamina is depleted. out.

3:40 Nieuwemarkt

Fallen Angel had an underpowered Porta Fortuna behind him when winning the Moyglare Stud Stakes over 7f at the Curragh. She had to accelerate twice to score in the Moyglare, and was impressed with the way she responded when joined by runner-up Vespertilio, who cruised to victory with authority after looking for a tough challenge.

She should stay a mile and deserves to be favorite in the Moyglare run, but… PORTA FORTUNA wasn’t at her best that day and we scared her.

Donnacha O’Brien’s filly won the Albany at Royal Ascot, lost her form mid-season and roared back to win the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes before finishing an excellent second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies’ Turf over a mile. That seemed to prove her staying power, albeit at a turning point, and while she has been quoted as saying she needed a quick turnaround, there is also a chance she disappointed between June and September last year as she was growing at that stage.

She certainly stood out a lot more at Newmarket than at Royal Ascot, and we think she’s the type to train well on.

Confidence has been boosted considerably by the way the track has dried up at Newmarket, and having advised an ante post interest, we are happy to proceed at lower odds knowing that circumstances have turned in its favour.
